Once Upon a Time
This design evolved over time. It began as a simple swirly fox. Then I thought a simple mouse might look nice in the corner. But my mouse looked kind of lonely and vulnerable alone in the corner, so I gave him a more curious and defiant look and gave him some simple calligraphy-style foliage to peer out from. Next thing you know, I started a story for you to make your own. Those are the best kinds of stories, I think. The ones that count on us to fill them, to make them our own, and are something we share. It’s how they thrive and grow.
I offer this design on several products including adult, youth, and child's Ts.
Turnagain Surf and Social Club
This is the (unofficial) Turnagain Arm Surf and Social Club Logo. It’s an original design I created to reflect the uniqueness of surfing the largest bore tide in North America among the beluga whales, mountains, and wilderness of Cook Inlet in Alaska. It’s one of those unique things that makes me happy to live in Alaska.
I offer this design on several products, including "Alaska Standard" hoodies, Unisex Ts, and Ladies' Ts in many different sizes and colors.
Whale Calligraphy
Whale Calligraphy is an original, stylized humpback whale drawing I created using loops and spirals, one of my favorite drawing techniques. I’m not sure why; they are just comforting and fun to fit together.

I really love the ocean, so I draw a lot of marine life. When I was a kid, I really wanted to be Jacques Cousteau when I grew up. Although I did earn a biology degree, got certified as a research diver, and worked in the field for a few summers, my life took me in other directions.
I offer this design on several products, including "Alaska Standard" hoodies, Unisex Ts, and Ladies' Ts in many different sizes and colors.
Steal the Sun
My inspiration for this design came from North American West Coast Native stories of how Raven brought light to the universe. Raven stole the light from a man who was keeping it in a pot (there are many variations and a lot more to this story) and was turned black when he flew out the smoke hole of the dwelling.
I offer this design on several products, including "Alaska Standard" hoodies, Unisex Ts, and Ladies' Ts in many different sizes and in many different colors (I sort of went crazy with this one).
Saw-Whet Simplicity
I spend a lot of time in the woods observing the world. Owls are fascinating birds—honestly, it’s all fascinating.

My inspiration for this simple owl design came from a saw-whet that sometimes perched a tree branch below the lift at Skiland in Fairbanks (the farthest north lift-served ski area in North America, a wonderful Mom-and-Pop ski area) when I was patrolling there.
I offer this design on several products, including "Alaska Standard" hoodies, Unisex Ts, and Ladies' Ts in many different sizes and colors.
Buzzard Air, Best Pilot in the Bush, Original Caricature Drawing
I drew this serious-looking buzzard standing on propeller up, thinking of some of the gruff, old, greasy Alaska bush pilots I’ve known. They may look rough and fly a plane first built before we were born that seems to be made of wire and soda cans stitched together, but they get the job done and are perhaps the only people who can.
Buzzard Air simply offers the best pilots in the bush.
I offer this design on several products, including hardworking "Alaska Standard" hoodies and Unisex Ts.
